All About Fitness

Miguel Sanchez was born in Los Angeles California, raised in Mexico, and currently lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge. Miguel competed in Track & Field, Cross Country, and Soccer. Through his experience in sports, he has gained a passion for health and fitness. As a professional Fitness Director and Trainer, his main passion is guiding people towards a healthier lifestyle. Miguel believes that everybody is unique; each with their own strengths and limitations. His method is to build custom plans based on each individual's fitness needs and goals. His aim is not only to transform your body but to influence you in making more mindful decisions when it comes to your health.

My philosophy is simple: It starts within. It is not simply to just train the client but to change the life and begin to shift the mind. When you have an understanding of ones goals, you are able to truly create a lifestyle that aligns with all aspects of their life. We root our approach each session around motivation, discipline and hard work with a focus on safe, effective and creative workouts. By doing the inner work with disciplined training, you leave each session not only feeling better than when you walked in, but heading in the direction of changing your life.

  • What is the free fitness consultation?
    This is a free 30 minute video call for new clients only. The coach will contact the client via Zoom or Facetime to get to know each other, chat about the client's health & fitness goals, past fitness history, answer any questions, and develop a fitnes plan to get you started on the right track.
  • How does virtual training works?
    All you need is a smart device that allows you to receive video calling. I use the Zoom video communication app or Facetime to transmit the virtual training sessions. If you are using Zoom, you will receive a link before each training session that will connect you to the live video call.
  • Do I need to have any fitness equipment at home?
    No, you do not need to have any fitness equipment at home. Chances are you probably already have the essentials, such as a chair, a mat, and a towel. One of my expertise as a trainer is doing bodyweight exercises. There are endless results of what we can achieve with bodyweight training. We will make the most out of each workout using minimal equipment or depending what the client has available.
  • How do I pay for my training sessions?
    At this time, I am only accepting payments using the Venmo app. Payments must be received before the sessions begin (please note I have a no refund policy). Venmo is a free digital wallet that lets you make and share payments.
